Inspired by paper torn from a sketchbook

Highlighting children excluded from school

The Fold Mirror is a continuation of my design for The Fold Side Table and Clock. Originally the idea was created from me playing with a sheet of paper torn from my sketchbook and folding it to create various shapes and forms. I thought the simple symmetry of the piece worked well as a mirror creating a modern, clean look. When I was folding the paper I liked the torn holes from the sketchbook. Not only could this create a decorative element to the mirror but an ideal solution for hanging the mirror to the wall. Alternatively due to how the piece is cleverly folded the mirror can be freestanding on any dressing table  or bathroom surface. I manufactured the final piece in steel to resemble the visual lightness of paper with a square bevelled edged mirror fixed onto the steel surface.                         

Manufactured from steel powder coated in Ral 9010 Pure White with a bevelled edged mirror attached to the front

Key hole on frame for easy hanging onto wall or can be freestanding
