Inspired by paper torn from a sketchbook

Highlighting Children excluded from School

The Fold Coffee Table was originally created when I was playing around with a sheet of paper torn from my sketchbook and simply folding it in different ways to create this real statement piece. I liked the uneven folds that I created. They not only looked aesthetically pleasing but functional too as ideal to store magazines and newspapers . I held the prototype up and noticed the holes in the paper where I had torn it out of my sketchbook . What if I made them part of the design feature and slotted the table legs inbetween the holes. Happy with my design my natural choice was to manufacture the table from steel as it has the visual lightness of paper with the strength of steel. So here we have The Fold Coffee Table with its graceful lines and timeless appearance in classic white finish. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did designing it.
